PayPal will stop their activities in Turkey

To the attention of PlugRush Advertisers and Publishers from Turkey, On the 30th of May 2016, PayPal announced that the company will stop its operations in Turkey, becoming effective on the 6th of June, 2016.

According to this announcement, Turkish PayPal users will not be able to send or receive payments. PayPal states that the reason is regarding the denial of a license from the financial regulator BDDK.

On the local Turkish PayPal site, we can read the following statement (in Turkish) “We are sorry to announce that PayPal is suspending its business operations in Turkey,” the company noted. “Effective from June 6, 2016, our customers in Turkey will no longer be able to send or receive funds with PayPal. Customers will still be able to log in to their PayPal accounts and withdraw any balance on their accounts to a Turkish bank account.

The whole announcement is available here (in Turkish): This means you will not be able to load or withdraw funds via PayPal as a Turkish PayPal user.
